EYES ON TALENTS MemberDESIGN FOR GOODLucas BauerEyes on Talents member, Lucas Bauer, joined the incubator Les Ateliers de Paris at the start of September. The designer creates organic, poetic jewellery that connects the body to the living world, inspired by the Mediterranean landscapes of his childhood in Marseille. After eight years at Louis Vuitton, where he worked as a jewellery and accessories designer in the Women’s studio, he founded the Lucas Bauer Jewellery studio in 2022. Beginning by making bespoke jewellery, he launched his first collection, HYPHOS, in September 2024. The collection is a tribute to the unseen world and features delicate jewellery in gold, silver, vermeil and precious stones that evolve into organic forms, gently expanding to curve around the body. Winner of a 2025 call for projects from the French Ministry of Culture, Lucas Bauer is currently developing his second collection, deepening his research on body adornment and paying homage to nature. At the same time, he teaches jewellery and accessories, passing on research and design methodologies to his students, as well as a careful approach to recycling and reusing materials. Designed as a fully immersive experience, this exhibition shown at Hangar in Brussels, goes beyond merely displaying images by recreating the atmosphere of the 1950s. In an era when family photography was an intimate and discreet act, it invites visitors to explore a space where every object, every light, and every image interact to bring memories and everyday gestures to life.By recreating this house and immersing visitors in this intimate universe, The House becomes a place where the past takes shape, where one can touch, feel, and understand the memory embedded in each image. It is a tribute to ordinary lives, stolen moments, and the beauty of memories, reminding us that these fleeting, everyday instances are the very fabric of our existence. Read more on Hangar
