FOR TODAY AND FOR TOMORROWEYES ON TALENTS Member DESIGN FOR GOODMarine LanierEyes on Talents member, Marine Lanier is presenting her Alchimia series—created as part of the Prix Maison Ruinart Paris Photo 2025—at the 18th Biennale d’art contemporain de Lyon, Passer d’un rêve à l’autre [To pass from one dream to another]. On view at the Musée d’art contemporain de Lyon, Alchimia tells the story of her summer residency in Champagne, a region that was previously unknown to her. Through people and landscapes, studio photographs, and archival images, Marine Lanier explores a world full of mysteries, where earthly and celestial elements resonate with human presence and the poetry of life’s cycles, where the infinitely small coexists with the infinitely large. Her images, in shades of gold, black, and gray, transport us into a world of magical realism—a documentary fable where, in fragments, the natural world rises to the surface, full of light and symbols.Image: Présage, 2025, from Alchimia series, Prix Maison Ruinart Paris Photo 2025. © Marine Lanier/Tendance FloueDesigning a better WORLD1Six créateurs émergents réunis par Richemont dans un pop-up parisien Du 30 septembre au 17 octobre, A Bunch of Designers, l’initiative d’AZ Academy by Richemont dédiée aux créateurs de mode émergents, investira Heureux les Curieux, dans le Marais à Paris. Unsubstantiated fashion terms like “sustainable”, “green” and “planet-friendly” are about to become relics of fashion’s unregulated past. Europe is strengthening its consumer protection laws to clamp down on greenwashing with the Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition Directive (known as EmpCo) that, starting September 27, will require all sustainability claims to be proven by third-party evidence like a certification or government backed label. Certain claims, such as carbon offsetting or carbon neutrality, are completely blacklisted.Read more on Vogue Business3Amazon, Stella McCartney and Canopy co-found coalition to scale sustainable fashion The initiative brings together major e-commerce, luxury fashion, and environmental organizations to support over 60 brands in achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2040.Read more on FashionUnited4Six civic projects by Kashef Chowdhury that put people first Bangladeshi architect Kashef Chowdhury has published a monograph collating works from his three-decade-long career. Ghana gained independence from British rule in 1957, and in 1960—often called the Year of Africa—17 nations struggling for self-determination achieved political autonomy. This upheaval ushered in a boom in cultural production and experimentation in visual art, dance, and music. Architects of Liberation: Modernism in Western Africa is the first major museum exhibition to examine the role of architecture in shaping this historic change. Read more on Fisheye ImmersiveLes mues éternellesImage : Aneta Kajzer, Über den Wolken, 2022. Read more on Frac Auvergne Hire Your Future!Eyes on Talents is the international Talent Place that connects influential brands to talent.
